This split-EP from Sofia Hughes and Isaac Ashby (Cøllege, Hey Joni, Moon > Sun) features two brief snapshots of the apathy towards love which seems to define our generation.

"Milkshakes" takes its cue from the haunting vocals of Fear Of Men and sees Sofia ruminating, in her dry, expressive voice, on the trials of love, accompanied by rolling guitar chords which are dreary in the best sense.

Isaac's contribution "$$$" nods at the plaintive musicality of Owen and Sun Kil Moon, a tiny slice of bedroom pop which punches above its weight through subtle vocal harmonies, mature production and powerful lines like "eternal nothingness is okay when you're in my brain".
